How It Works

This tool applies string transformations in your browser. UPPER CASE and lower case use JavaScript's toUpperCase() and toLowerCase(). Title Case capitalises the first letter of each word. camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, and kebab-case are produced by splitting on whitespace and rejoining with the appropriate separator and capitalisation rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is camelCase used for?

camelCase is the conventional naming style for variables and functions in JavaScript, Java, and many other programming languages.

What is snake_case used for?

snake_case is commonly used for variable names in Python, Ruby, and SQL column names.

Does the converter handle numbers and special characters?

Yes, but snake_case and kebab-case strip characters that are not letters, numbers, or the separator character. Other formats preserve all input characters.
