  4. "% Change" — calculates the percentage increase or decrease from one value to another.

How It Works

All calculations are performed in your browser using standard arithmetic. Percentage of: result = (X / 100) × Y. What percent: result = (X / Y) × 100. Percentage change: result = ((to − from) / |from|) × 100. Add/subtract: result = value × (1 ± rate / 100).

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I calculate a discount?

Use "Subtract %" mode. Enter the original price as the base value and the discount percentage. The result is the discounted price.

How do I calculate tax-inclusive price?

Use "Add %" mode. Enter the pre-tax price as the base value and the tax rate as the percentage. The result is the total price including tax.
